TomTom will be at the Daytona 2006 in Daytona Florida for one of the nation’s largest motorcycle rallies in the country.  The Daytona rally will be from March 3 – 13.  TomTom will share tent space with Suzuki and will have a detailed motorcycle on display, demoing several pre-loaded scenic routes provided by MadMaps.  Here are instructions for you to download the 2006 RIDER Mad Map Itinerary.

1.    To begin, download the MadMaps_Daytona.itn file.  Right click here and select “Save Target as Download.”

2.    After the download is complete, connect your RIDER to your PC using the supplied USB cable and power the RIDER on.

3.    Double-click on the My Computer icon on your Desktop.  You should see your RIDER as a ‘Device with Removable Storage’.  Double-click the RIDER icon.

4.    Open the itn folder and paste the MadMaps_Daytona.itn file into the itn folder.

5.    Unplug the USB cable from the bottom of the device. Your RIDER should now power up.

6.    Once the RIDER has successfully restarted, tap the Itinerary Planning icon on the second page of the RIDER main menu.

7.    Tap the Options button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen and select Load Itinerary.  NOTE:  If you already have an active itinerary, loading a new itinerary will erase your current itinerary unless you have saved it previously.

8.    Tap the MadMaps_Daytona selection and the itinerary will then load.  

9.    Tap Done to begin navigation of the MadMaps Daytona itinerary.
