<description>Congrats on joining the blogosphere. TomTom has some great products that I have tested over the years. Still haven't tried the TomTom Go yet, but was thinking about doing a product review or perhaps just buying one. I still have the product eval form from a few months ago actually.

The last I tested TomTom was the PocketPC version which uses TeleAtlas map data. It was poor compared with the NAVTECH data I had using a competing GPS Pocket PC solution. That is the main stumbling block for me buying the TomTom Go product.

I hope TeleAtlas has come further in their U.S. maps or that TomTom decides to license the NAVTECH data in the future. I'd pay an extra $50 for the NAVTECH data.

Overall, great products. You guys have come a long way.
