can you tell me if there is a way to manually set up my Go 720 with my treo 650???
Your best bet is to call TomTom Customer Support at 866-486-6866. They can help you manually setup your Bluetooth mobile phone.
tomtom needs to update their Bluetooth-compatible mobile phones list more often there. Alot of their cellphones are old. I own a very popular phone the samsung sch-u740, but the tomtom does not recognized my phone but the phone recognized the tomtom. What’s up with that.
We are always testing new phones and we won’t list them as officially supported and compatible until they’ve gone through a rigorous test. With more and more Bluetooth-capable phones hitting the market all the time, we are constantly testing. That said, just because we haven’t listed a phone as officially supported, does not mean that it won’t work. If you’d like help pairing your Bluetooth mobile phone with your TomTom device, you can call Support at 866-486-6866.
On the wireless data setup, why is Verizon not listed as one of the carriers?
This is because of the unique Bluetooth profiles of phones on the Verizon network. Unfortunately the network limits the devices to which their phones will pair. We are always working to add to our list of Bluetooth compatible phones.
My Blackberry Curve finds the TomTom 730 as a bluetooth device, but the TomTom cannot find the phone. Are you working on getting this phone on the list? (T-Mobile)
Mark, Bluetooth profiles are determined by the service provider, not TomTom.
Make sure your phone is in DISCOVERABLE mode.
I have a GO720. I cleaned the screen with a damp cloth and a very small drop of soap. The screen sensitivity has decreased to a state which makes it almost useless. Any hits to what I can do. Thanks.
