Today, TomTom’s newest innovative device, the TomTom GO 740 LIVE was recognized with two prestigious awards at the 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) - the CNET “Best of CES” Award and the LAPTOP “Best of CES” award. Both honors, awarded specifically for the TomTom GO 740 LIVE, recognize TomTom’s continued dedication to innovation and design, and commitment to deliver customers with unparalleled technology. CNET and LAPTOP editors reviewed hundreds of entries, as well as scoured the CES show floor for products to consider for the awards.
The GO 740 LIVE, which was just unveiled at CES, is TomTom’s first connected portable navigation device that provides the industry’s best routing and helps drivers take control of their daily drive via automatic delivery of helpful feature including: real-time traffic information, TomTom Fuel Price Service, Local Search powered by Google, TomTom Weather, QuickGPSfixTM, and TomTom Buddies. The TomTom GO 740 LIVE will be available in Q2 2009 at major retailers across the US for $499.95.
In addition to these honors, the TomTom Fold & Go EasyPortTM Mount was also awarded with the Innovations International CES Design and Engineering Showcase Award in the In-Vehicle Technology category.
