TomTom Advertising Blitz!
This week we unveiled the company’s first integrated U.S. advertising campaign. Over the coming months we will be targeting our core consumers via television, radio, print, and online ads. We’re reaching out to potential TomTom customers with commercials surrounding network TV and national cable programs on ESPN, Spike TV, Discovery channel and more.

What a surprise, having friends call me about my ads on TV. Yes my name is Scott Scott and has been since 1956, I live in Wheaton, IL with my wife and 2 children. I know a Scott Scott in MN, as I understand it. he was named Scott and was adopted by his step father surnamed scott,(he had a choice!) I know of a Scott Scott in CA who was a friend of a friends (Kim Covenaugh’s) boss growing up. I do know a Thomas Thomas also from Chicago. Billy Williams once gave me greif for my name and I turned it back on him with a name of William Williams (chicago cubs), he corrected my saying he was too poor for a fancy name like that and showed me proof he was named “Billy” Williams by is mother.

My boss at Avid technology used to call me TomTom. One Avid Technology customer ever called me Tomtom turnaround and since tghat day he calls me TomTom. But I have to say in reaction to the commercials that I do like the CSI version.

As for the song, while it is by Terry Snyder and The All Stars, you may have better luck finding it if you search for Enoch Light’s “Persuasive Percussion” album. I nearly fell out of my chair the other day the first time I saw the commercial - “Oh my God, I have that record!”
