The Column That Doesn’t Have a name… Yet
Welcome to what will hopefully become a weekly feature here at Club TomTom. It doesn’t really have a name yet, we’re working on it. But the gist is, we’ve combed through the online forums and we’ve spoken to TomTom Customer Support to find what people are talking about in regards to using their TomTom devices.
First up! It seems that sometimes, especially when you first turn on the GO 920, 730 and 930, the icon for Voice Address Input is greyed out, seemingly yielding the feature inoperable.
Relax. It’s a common issue with a very simple solution…
To resolve the issue, first tap on 
Tap on the country icon to choose your state
Then choose the state where your destination is
Now, the Spoken Address options are no longer grey and you can use them

i have tomtom go 730 for about 4 days now
the spoken sddress was working, and now is greyed out can you help please.

Hi, I had this exact problem after an upgrade and am pleased your directions resolved my issue. This is such a weird thing to encounter. Glad to have come across this column.
