Meet Brad Schwarzenbach

Brad is TomTom Inc.’s Web Content Specialist. This means that he manages, edits, and maintains US content for the corporate website, newsletters, and blog (wink, wink). He joined TomTom in June 2006 so he’s pretty fresh on the TomTom scene.
Hailing from Stonington, Connecticut, he comes to TomTom via UConn (Go Huskies!) and Toyama, Japan (Go Carp!).
Brad’s car sports a TomTom GO 700 which he uses often. Being new to Massachusetts it has been a valuable tool for him. “I have a pretty bad sense of direction and I tend to get lost. That coupled with the fact that I don’t really know the area, my TomTom has been a valuable tool for me.” (Yes Brad, we just said that.)
Beyond finding routes home when lost (a frequent occurrence for him) Brad recommends using the “Find Alternative Route” feature on your TomTom. “It’s great for explorer types. On the weekends I like to explore the back roads. I pick a destination and tell my TomTom to avoid highways. I found a really great mini golf course in Westford this way. Plus, I love a good New England autumn so I’m looking forward to my TomTom directing me down some scenic roads. And this has nothing to do with avoiding Massachusetts drivers on the Pike, who are… umm… how can I put this nicely? Aggressive.”

Brad is tremendously flattered that you like his shirt. It’s Nautica and
it was a birthday gift from his girlfriend.
