Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner

To bring you all up to speed, a couple weeks back I posted a riddle based on an unusual navigation situation…

How is it possible to receive the direction, “Turn around when possible. Then, turn around when possible.”

Well, a number of people suggested potential answers, and now, finally, someone has figured out this navigational oddity.

Wai Lai of Massachusetts correctly described the scenario as follows…

“You have an itinerary set up with multiple waypoints. Start at Point A. Destination is Point B. If I drive by point B it should tell me to turn around when possible. I turn around reach point B, but the next waypoint on the itinerary is to go to Point C so I need to turn around when possible to proceed to point C.”

That was the trick: Multiple destinations that both will require you to turn around when possible.

Way to go Wai! Enjoy the fame and adulation that will no doubt be coming to you any moment now.
