This was the most moving Home Makeover ever!
I not only work in a trauma hospital but my son is serving in the Air Force in Baghdad, Iraq so I appreciated many aspects of this show.
I fly my flag with a light on it 24/7 and am so proud that there are men and women who serve to protect our country. And to see a Brit just as proud! I cried through most of the program. We have the best country in the world!

This is one of the greatest American hero stories, I’ve ever heard. To hear and know this story and to also know and see a black man honored in this manner was overwhelming. Myself and 2 of my brothers watched Extreme makeover in tears of joy for you and your family. I must say that you’re a man’s man, an american man. Seeing you help your sister in law also by inviting her into your home is also a great story in itself. You make me proud to be a black man today. Jason you are our black american hero and it’s a great feeling to see you and your family rewarded on the show and I hope you’re rewarded for the rest of your lives. You gave back to America TWICE and we appreciate you. We would like to contact you in order to send funds in our appreciation for you. Thank you, thank you, thank you !!!!!
