Bluetooth on the TomTom GO 720

The TomTom GO 720 is Bluetooth ready for access to TomTom PLUS Services such as Traffic and Weather. Also, it enables you to take phone calls directly through your device completely handsfree with the help of the built-in full duplex speaker and microphone.

    My LG phone on Verizon works quite well with Bluetooth, although I am unable to copy the contact info from the phone. Following directions for the GO700 (modified slightly)from elsewhere in this blog I was able to populate the phonebook. I should think TomTom Home should provide the ability to create and maintain the phonebook file at x:/contacts/contacts.txt

    Sorry, but at present, TomTom GO 720 does not support Bluetooth connectivity with Verizon mobile phones.

    I have a HTC AT&T 8525, I have the bluetooth working but the 720 says my phone is not compatible for tomtomplus. It is on the list of approved phones what do i need to do to set it up . Thanks
