The Apple iPhone is now officially supported for use with handsfree calling on the TomTom GO 510/910 and 720.

For those of you who’ve been sending in solutions to last week’s riddle, thanks for all your responses. You’re all on the right track but there’s one crucial element that’s missing. A lot of people are going with the divided road idea where you need to turn around to double back. This is not correct because the TomTom’s direction would be to “Turn left” or “Make a U-turn.”

Here’s a hint from the GPS blogger who originally sent the scenario in:

“In my surfing this morning I thought I’d drop by via this post to see if anyone figured it out. But it looks a little early for me to turn around now and do that. I’ll wait until everyone hits a dead end thinking about it. Plus, I’m the type of guy who would be more likely to leave a red herring than a hint. ”

Thanks Tim. If you read it carefully, there are hints AND red herrings.
