Swiss Miss TomTom’s Safety

As you are all aware, Switzerland passed a law a few months back banning many GPS devices because of their ability to detect police “speed cameras.” In case you aren’t familiar with this story, yourNav and Engadget featured info about it here and here.

In the meantime, the good news is the rest of the world can enjoy the many benefits of TomTom – the primary one being safety.

As we have written on the TomTom site here, safety is of primary importance to us, and independent research verifies that using TomTom users are more aware, feel less stressed and get involved in fewer accidents. The proof speaks for itself.

We hope the Swiss issue irons itself out, but for the time being, enjoy all of the great features of TomTom devices – in both style and substance.
